Skin in the Game by Jane Wurwand – HarperCollins Leadership Essentials

Uncover the unique qualities within YOU that will lead you to find your true purpose, a meaningful career and show you how to live your biggest life.

Dermalogica founder Jane Wurwand shows you how to turn your unique traits and experiences – especially the ones you may think are your biggest setbacks, into the tools you need to make your dreams a reality.

I know I have a bigger purpose, but how can I find it?

Jane Wurwand developed Dermalogica skincare products and a system of teaching salon owners how to use them that has evolved into a multi-million dollar international business.

Sharing lessons learned, Jane teaches you how to find yourself and your purpose by harnessing the resilience and creativity within you to drive your own success.

This interactive journey will help you connect the dots of your experiences and tools that reveal the obscured, maybe forgotten picture of what your purpose is likely rooted in. Like dots on paper that seem random at the time, they will join up to reveal something new and previously unseen.

"Jane Wurwand inspired me the moment I heard her incredible story. She truly started from the bottom to rise to the heights of her industry and she did it at a time when women were blocked from success at nearly every possible juncture. What Jane has shown through her work and her leadership in empowering women around the world is that possibility is everywhere if you keep your eyes open."

—Guy Raz, NYT bestselling author and creator of the podcast How I Built This with Guy Raz

“Despite what other books might tell you, you don’t need a ten-year plan, an MBA and hundreds of thousands of dollars in the bank to do the thing you’ve always dreamed of. To live a brave and entrepreneurial life, you must just say yes to your dreams, and figure the rest out as you go. This book will show you that you have everything you need already inside you and anything else can be solved with ice cream.”

—Jerry Greenfield, philanthropist, activist, humanitarian, author and co-Founder of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream (for which he has no responsibility and no authority)

"Now more than ever, we need strong female role models to lead and have their voices heard. Jane is that role model to aspire to as you step into the leadership of your own life. And in true Jane form, she is even donating her book sales!”

—Gail Becker, Founder and CEO of Caulipower
